Worship at Bethany Presbyterian Church

Bethany Presbyterian Church is a congregation within the Reformed tradition. Our worship contains the Preaching of the Word, the Sacraments of Communion and Baptism, and the regular reading of Old and New Testament Scripture.

We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and look to God as the source of all life and the Holy Spirit as our nurturer, One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism.

Presbyterians understand themselves to be a part of the Church of Jesus Christ and thus believe that baptism is only once whenever it is done. All who trust in Christ are welcome at our Communion Table and also welcome into membership by their affirmation of faith.

Each week we affirm the Christian Faith from one of the denomination's creedal statements and intercede in prayer for those both in our congregation and the world outside.

Our worship is also “workship”. What we do when we gather on Sunday reflects what we do the rest of the week. Our worship, singing, fellowship, praying, and studying all connect us to and prepare us for the work of the kingdom in our daily lives.
