Mission Statement

Bethany Church is a body of Christ rooted in scripture and grounded in the experience of God's love. Our mission is to provide a nurturing and energizing environment to feed the soul so we can go out into the world and reflect the glory of God, the love of Jesus Christ, and the power of the Holy Spirit, and to pass the invitation of God's grace and salvation to others.

Our worship, our programs, and our lives reflect this mission, and we as a congregation, reaffirm our dedication to this by saying together this charge at the close of most worship services:

Go out into the world in peace; have courage; hold on to what is good; return no person evil for evil; strengthen the fainthearted, support the weak, help the suffering, honor all people; love and serve the Lord, rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit
